Guidelines for Authors/ Contributors

1 Submit articles to the Chief Editor using either the E-mail I.D. of the Journal: malayalamresearchjournal@gmail.com

2 Malayalam Research Journal is a peer-reviewed, print, bi-lingual (English and Malayalam) , non profitable journal covers areas of language, literature, art, history and culture. The Journal welcomes full length research articles, short research notes, review articles, book reviews, thesis reviews (reports), texts having historical importance and essays of a more general nature on the concerned areas of the Journal.

3 Authors are expected to revise the manuscripts according to the suggestions, if any, of the editors/ peer-reviewers.

4 Submit only original articles that have not appeared elsewhere. Authors shall not submit the same manuscript for concurrent consideration of other publications. It may take one to two years to publish an article in Malayalam Research Journal.

5 The author is free to choose any international style of citation such as APA, MLA, Chicago Style or any other style that following in-text citation (information sources),. But at the same time only one style has to be adhered in one article. Abstract, key words and a list of works cited (References) at the end of the article are must. Do not use footnote or endnote citations. Please include links to web resources that are mentioned or referred.

6 Contributors should be very careful in sticking to the code of ethics related to the in-text citations (references) while they preparing the article. Each and every quote must be demarcated with double quotation marks (putting single quotation mark is not sufficient or correct); indent the quote if it is lengthy (if it is above forty words according to APA); pagination of the quote should be stated correctly.

7 Plagiarism is a criminal offence and it will be reported, if found, to the authorities of law and order.
