Sri. C.V. Balakrishnan
Well known Malayalam novelist , short story writer, essayist, screen play writer and orator. He won Kerala Sahitya academy award, thrice for novel, auto biography and travelogue. He is also a recipient of Kerala State film award for best book on cinema. He is also awarded with the well reputed Padma Prabha puraskaram. Balakrishnan owns a unique style of writing right from beginning of his literary career and maintains the creative potential and calibre for more than fifty fruitful years and still exploring novelty in writing. At the age of thirty he wrote his masterpiece novel Ayussinte Pusthakam which still remains as a wonderful contribution throughout these three and a half decades and is being admired by different literary generations. His craft and language is unique and artistically brilliant , which reflects in almost all pieces of his writing. For over fifty years he maintains his aesthetic quality and also dynamically involves in social steam of Kerala and always remains in the side of social justice.
